The pub brings a lively atmosphere with live music but the shared bathrooms could be a challenge for some.

good location but furnishings could improve
The location was very central, allowing easy access to key attractions. Staff were friendly, making the atmosphere welcoming and enjoyable. The bed was comfy, providing a good night's rest, which I greatly appreciated.
The furnishings felt a bit dated.

absolutely loved the shared bathrooms that felt straight out of the 1800s, and don’t get me started on the walls being so thin! I expected a room upgrade for my poor experience or at least a complimentary snack, but alas, I was treated like a peasant. I almost gave a good review, but just couldn’t.

Shared loo/shower down the hall could use a thorough cleaning!!! Dim overhead lighting and insufficient space between the bed and dressing mirror hinder functionality!!! A touch of updating on the furniture might enhance appeal!!!

We enjoyed our stay, especially the hospitality from the staff and the convenient location near Salisbury Cathedral. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, providing a cozy atmosphere. Plus, we were thrilled to be just a short drive from Salisbury Racecourse for some family fun.
My wife says that the shared bathrooms could be challenging for families with kids.

I spent 1 night at a Standard Double Room while visiting the beautiful Salisbury Cathedral. What I appreciated the most was the well-equipped room with a kettle and ample tea and coffee, perfect for winding down after exploring the nearby attractions. The location was fantastic, just a quick walk to the city center and the market place, making it easy to soak in the local vibes. it was a convenient stay, especially after a long day of sightseeing.

The room was pretty decent! Comfy mattress, fresh linens, a kettle for tea, and loads of towels. The in-room sink is cool for quick freshening up. I was on the top floor, so noise wasn’t an issue, but the furniture felt a bit old-school. The shower was nice, but it did have moments of hot and cold. it did the job for a night.
